Minimalists don’t have to give up their house, furniture and computers. This site is about minimalist living in the real world. The world that contains all sorts of commitments that we must balance, such as our work and home life. If you have kids, please keep them! LOL.

Minimalists value quality over quantity.

The idea is to not spend mindlessly on unnecessary stuff. Being frugal is sticking to the essentials, but it’s actually a good plan to spend more if necessary to get high quality items that will last longer and work better. It’s definitely better to take the time and effort to get better made items.

We all need to remember to periodically reassess our possessions to ensure that we are not collecting too much stuff, or becoming too attached to material things. Don’t worry if you have to repeat this step. It’s perfectly normal. This is an ongoing process, and it’s challenging for everyone.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think.
